I've been experiencing a strange issue this past week where printer redirection has completely stopped working during remote sessions using the Windows App for my AVD session host. There's nothing in the event logs to indicate that printers are being redirected or that there's an issue; it just doesn't even attempt to redirect at all. Configurations haven't changed on my end, and I'm the only one with access to make any modifications. The session pool is set to redirect all printers. I'm looking for any guidance or suggestions since I'm having trouble finding information that matches my situation. Any help would be appreciated!

I've run into redirect problems where it turned out to be the client app causing the issues rather than something on the AVD side. Usually, a quick reinstall or update of the Windows App fixed the printing for me. You might also want to test out another machine to see if printer redirection works there; if it does, that might indicate the problem is local to your client setup.
I had a similar issue where the Windows App would drop connections when trying to print to a redirected printer. Have you thought about using the older Remote Desktop Client? Sometimes the latest updates can mess with printer redirection.
I've actually tried MSTSC and the older AVD Connect client that got replaced by the Windows App. It's frustrating because searching for anything with 'Windows App' is a nightmare!
