Help Choosing Components for AMD Ryzen 7 7800 X3D Build

Hey everyone! I'm putting together a build with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800 X3D and RX 9070 XT, and I could really use some guidance. I'm looking for recommendations on a case, motherboard, RAM, power supply, and cooling options. For the motherboard, I'm currently considering the MSI MAG B650M Gaming Plus. I've been told I should go for a PSU that's at least 850W; do you think that's necessary? For RAM, I've heard that CL30 is better than CL36—can someone explain that to me? I'm not too worried about the case as long as it's not too bulky or unattractive. I plan to overclock in a few years if needed, but I want to keep everything as is for about 2-3 years. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you're playing Cyberpunk and other immersive games, make sure your settings are optimized for performance. And for the GPU, you’ll want to ensure everything's well-balanced. The MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI could also be a good option for your motherboard.

CL30 RAM does indeed have better latency than CL36, which generally means it's faster. The sweet spot for performance seems to be around 6000 MT/s with CL30 timings. Given the current pricing on RAM, I'd suggest being flexible with your choices—it might save you some cash!

Yeah, prices have gone a bit wild lately, so flexibility is key.

For the PSU, going for an 850W is generally a good idea, especially if you plan to overclock later. It gives you some room for upgrades as well. And definitely check the wattage requirements for the RX 9070 XT, as it might guide your decision.
