I'm trying to figure out what projects to dive into. I'd love to create some niche tools since they're likely to have a dedicated user base and less competition. At 18, I don't have much money to risk on uncertain ventures, so I want to keep it efficient and produce multiple tools quickly—ideally finishing each one in under 50 hours. I have a collection of ideas written down, but I'm stuck on deciding which one to prioritize and worry about picking one that won't end up being a waste of time.

I usually build tools that I would find useful myself. If I don’t see a personal need for a tool, I might miss important user experience aspects since I won’t be as invested in it. It helps to think about what you truly need.
If you're struggling to choose, just make it fun! Flip a coin to pick which idea to work on next.
Honestly, just create something you’d love to use yourself. The passion will show through in the project!
Have you thought about directly talking to potential users in those niches? Getting feedback can really help you understand if your tool will be beneficial to them.
What are some of the niches you're considering? That could really narrow down your options.

Exactly! If you find something you want and notice others want it too, you might be onto something big.
