I've been asked to install the Secure Endpoint Manager by SonicWall on my personal computer in order to connect remotely. Can someone explain what Secure Endpoint Manager actually does? I'm also curious if this means the IT team will have any access or visibility into my personal computer after the installation. Thanks in advance!

Yes, installing Secure Endpoint Manager does grant your IT team some level of access to your personal computer. They can monitor certain activities and ensure compliance with their security policies. Personally, I would recommend against doing this if it's on your own device. If they expect you to use a computer for work, they should provide you with one.

I totally agree with you! What kind of control or visibility does it actually give them over my personal machine?
