I've been using Bazzite from a thumb drive on my new laptop, but I'm having trouble accessing my SSDs. One SSD came pre-installed, while the other is a recent addition. Whenever I try to access them, Bazzite prompts me for authentication, and I'm unable to get past this step. I've checked the settings on Windows and granted 'Full control' for both drives. However, when I input my Windows PIN, it doesn't work. I want to ensure I can access these SSDs before fully switching to Bazzite. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Fast Startup can really be the culprit here; it’s designed to speed up boot times but, unfortunately, it locks drives from other operating systems. If you have disabled it and are still facing issues, it might be worth checking your permissions again.
Have you checked if BitLocker is enabled on your drives? If it is, that could be causing the access issues. The good news is that the drives showing up means they’re recognized. You could format them later if you decide to switch fully to Linux. But for dual-boot scenarios, it's crucial to get this sorted out first.
One common hiccup could be with the Fast Startup feature in Windows. When it's enabled, it can lock out other operating systems from accessing the drives. Try disabling that setting in your power options, and you might find yourself in the clear!
Have you tried entering your main user password? Since mounting the drives usually requires root permissions, sometimes people overlook that step. It's worth a shot, just to make sure!
