Hey there! I'm looking to build a PC that can handle 4K gaming at 120+ FPS. I'm not on a strict budget but I'm trying to make smart choices without overspending. A local shop offered me two potential builds, and I'd love your thoughts or suggestions for my ideal setup. Here are the options:

Build #1:
- x870a ROG Motherboard
- 9950X3D Processor
- Liquid Cooling (360mm)
- 64GB (32+32GB) 6000MHz RAM
- Palit RTX 5090 GPU (32GB)
- 2TB 9100 Pro SSD
- Full Tower Case
- 1200W Thermalright Power Supply

Build #2:
- B850 A ROG Motherboard
- 9800X3D Processor
- Liquid Cooling (360mm)
- 64GB (32+32GB) 6000MHz RAM
- Palit RTX 5080 GPU (32GB)
- 2TB 9100 Pro SSD
- Full Tower Case
- 1200W Thermalright Power Supply

Build 1 is definitely more powerful, especially with that RTX 5090, but it seems to splurge on the CPU and motherboard unnecessarily. If you're looking to save some money, you might want to consider the components from Build 2 but swap in the 5090 from Build 1 for maximum performance. That way, you get great power without overspending on things you don't really need.

I totally get where you're coming from! I also recommend the 5090 from Build 1. Just make sure you check compatibility before mixing parts from different builds. As for cooling, if you can wait, the water-cooled version should perform better, especially during intense gaming sessions!
