I'm looking to switch my wife and me over to Linux, starting with our Lenovo Yoga laptops that are currently running Windows 10. My main concern is around my desktop PC, which I rely on daily for tasks like video editing, web browsing, and other household activities. The only game I play is World of Warcraft, mainly as a free-to-play user with occasional subscription months. Will WoW run well on Linux, and is there anything important I should know before making the switch?

Works perfectly for me! Just download Lutris, add Battle.net as a game, and follow the prompts. It's pretty simple!
Been running WoW on Wine in Gentoo Linux for ages! It was a bit rocky at first but has become stable recently. There's definitely some dependency on your video drivers, so make sure they're up to date. Keep in mind that some patches might cause issues with Battle.net, but generally, if you're not raiding, you should be fine.
