I'm looking to downsize my current setup which is in a large Lian Li case. I've had this PC for about four years and I feel it's time to switch things up. I currently have a B450 Tomahawk MAX motherboard and a 5700X3D processor, which I believe is based on the AM4 socket. I want to find a smaller motherboard that can still support my 3070 Founders Edition GPU. Any recommendations on compact motherboards or cases that would fit this setup?

You should definitely look at any ITX motherboard since they'll all support your GPU. They typically fit in a compact 8" square.
For your setup, a B450 or B550 ITX motherboard would work great. Consider checking out some options that can fit in a smaller case, maybe even something like this one: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6Vjstp.
A mini-ITX board is a solid choice if it has the ports you require. Just remember that the biggest constraints will be your CPU cooler and GPU size. If you're not set on keeping an optical drive or additional mechanical HDDs, you can go a lot smaller. By the way, using M.2 SSDs can also help free up space!

I have multiple SSDs too and would be fine with just using M.2! That really opens things up!
