I've been facing a frustrating issue where my PC freezes and makes a loud noise while playing certain games, specifically Marvel Rivals and The First Berserker: Khazan. This started about a month ago, and the only way to fix it is to hold the power button to turn off my laptop and restart. I upgraded my RAM from 16 to 64 GB and got a new SSD thinking it might help, but the crashing hasn't stopped. I don't experience any issues with my other games, and I've confirmed that both Windows 11 and my drivers are up to date. I've heard there might be compatibility problems with Unreal Engine and NVIDIA GPUs, but I'm not sure how to tackle this. My laptop is a Razer Blade 16 with an i9 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, and I'm using a mix of SSDs for my data. If anyone has insight into what might be causing this, I'd really appreciate your help!

You might want to look into checking your crash dump files. These files can offer insights into what’s causing the crashes. If you're able to boot into Windows, head to C:WindowsMinidump and see if there are any files there. If you find them, compress the folder and upload it to a file-sharing site so you can get some help analyzing them. It could give a clearer picture of what’s going wrong.
Have you tried monitoring your laptop's temperature? Sometimes, overheating can lead to crashes. Download HWInfo64 to check the temps. If your laptop is a year old and hasn't been cleaned, dust build-up could also be an issue, so make sure the ventilation isn't clogged. Keeping everything cool is key, especially while gaming!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check the temps and clean out any dust if necessary. Wish me luck!
