I'm considering switching from Intel to AMD for the new DOOM release and want to build a system around the 7800X3D, especially since I can snag one for a good price at Microcenter. I'm looking for a motherboard that has Wi-Fi capabilities and at least three M.2 slots. Ideally, it should be under $200 and last me at least seven years. My other components include a 7900XTX GPU, 2x16GB of RAM, an 850W PSU, a Corsair 4000D case, and an Alienware 3440x1440p 175Hz monitor. Any suggestions?

You should check out Microcenter's bundles—they sometimes have great deals on CPUs, motherboards, and RAM together. If you're looking for motherboards, go to pcpartpicker.com, and filter for what you need. Generally, any B850 board with Wi-Fi should meet your requirements well.
Honestly, the $500 or $530 bundle with the 7800X3D, motherboard, and RAM would be a perfect fit for you. It simplifies everything, and you'll be all set with what you need.
Don't stress about finding the "best" motherboard. As long as it provides enough power delivery for your CPU, even a budget A620 board could work fine. I’d recommend checking for Microcenter bundles as they usually offer the best value. Get one with a PCIe5 graphics card slot if you can, but the bundled B650 boards should work fine for your 7800X3D setup.
What if I plan to upgrade to a 9800X3D in a few years? Will that still work?
