Can My PSU Support a 3-Pin PCIe GPU With Limited Slots?

I'm about to install an XFX Mercury 9070 XT OC graphics card, which requires three PCIe 8-pin connections. I also ordered an MSI MPG A1000G PCI-E 5.0, 1000W power supply that comes with six PCIe (6+2) cables, but it seems to have only four PCIe connector slots. My motherboard already uses two 8-pin connectors for the CPU. Do I need to buy another power supply, or is there a way to make this work? Any advice would be appreciated!

Your power supply actually includes a 12VHPWR to 2 x 6+2 PCIe cable, which means that the cable isn't just split; it's two independent cables. This setup should work fine with your GPU! Just make sure everything is connected properly, and you should be ready to go.

I heard those cables are mainly for Nvidia GPUs. Is that really a concern?
