It really depends on your goals for hardening. If you're working on compliance for a business, you might want to check out frameworks like the Essential Eight or Cyber Essentials. For a more aggressive approach, the DoD STIG could definitely elevate your defenses! Just a heads-up though, that one can be pretty invasive.
