I'm building a PC for my girlfriend, and I need advice on RAM size. Her specs include a Ryzen 5700X CPU, an XFX SWFT RX 6700 GPU, and a 1TB WD Black SN750 SSD. She mainly plays games like Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Baldur's Gate 3, and It Takes Two, which are not very demanding. I have two sets of RAM available: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x16GB 3600 CL16 and ADATA XPG GAMMIX 2x8GB 3600 CL18. I'm debating whether to stick with 32GB since she might run modded Minecraft or if 16GB could suffice. I also have another setup in my living room that might use 16GB for SteamOS if it gets released publicly, but I'm wondering if 32GB is necessary for gaming on a 4K display with the RX 6800XT despite it having a lesser CPU. What would you recommend?

Honestly, you can never have too much RAM. If you already have 32GB, that’s perfect! It’s likely overkill now but a great cushion for future games and trends.
