Is 4x8GB RAM Better Than 2x8GB RAM?

I'm trying to understand whether having 32GB of RAM configured as 4x8GB is better than switching to 2x8GB. I've heard that dual-channel configurations are preferable. As a beginner in this area, I'm not sure if the difference in performance would justify making a change. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

As long as your RAM is stable and running at the advertised speeds, sticking with 4x8GB is totally fine. You're still benefiting from dual-channel performance since you've got two sticks per channel. No need to stress about switching!

Yeah, I agree! It's dual channel either way, just with more modules in play.
