Need Advice on Upgrading My PC for Better Performance

I'm completely new to building PCs and I'm looking to upgrade mine because I'm experiencing frequent frame drops and some strange graphic issues. I suspect the graphics card is the main culprit, but I'm not fully sure about all the components. Here are my current specs:
- CPU: 12th Gen Intel i5-12400F
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650
- Motherboard: Asus PRIME H610M-E D4
- RAM: 16GB
- OS: Windows 11

I'm in Canada and would appreciate any advice on what part(s) I should focus on upgrading. Thanks!

Your GPU is definitely holding you back! Since you're looking at a budget around 600 CAD, I'd recommend considering something like the Nvidia RTX 3060, which should give you a solid performance boost. Just make sure to check if your power supply can handle it—what wattage do you have?

If your power supply is only 500W, you might want to upgrade that as well if you're going for a more powerful GPU. The RTX 3060 is great, but depending on the exact model, it might need a bit more power.
