Hey everyone! I'm considering enrolling in a C programming class during the summer and I'd love to hear your thoughts. I have some background in C++ from working with Arduino, but I know that C is a bit different. What do you think? Is it worth it? Any advice would be appreciated!

Since it’s recommended for one of your classes, I say take it! C is a fantastic language to grasp a ton of programming concepts.
Honestly, just go for it. You won't lose much by spending a few months and a couple hundred bucks.
Absolutely! Many basic C programming courses are short, just a couple of months, and they provide a solid introduction to get you started.
It really depends on you and the specific class. You might want to talk to people at your college to get insights on the teacher and the course pace. Summer classes usually move faster than regular ones, which can mean fewer assignments but also less time to complete them. If it's an intro course, your C++ experience could definitely help! I recommend reaching out to friends who have taken it or consulting an academic advisor for their take.
I’d suggest just learning on your own instead. From my experience, self-learning often beats a college course. But if you need the credit for your degree, that’s another story!

Yeah, I'll ask around! The course registration says they recommend taking a prior intro to programming course, but I'm thinking this class really focuses on C and might dive deeper into it.
