I'm trying to figure out if the main purpose of AT&T's Switched Ethernet service is to connect multiple locations without needing a VPN. What are the advantages of using this service compared to regular business fiber options like AT&T Business Fiber?

Yeah, that's exactly how we planned to use it, but we ended up dropping the project because it was too expensive.
I took over IT responsibilities from someone who didn't manage things well. We're paying $2400 a month for 3 sites with a setup that is not meeting our needs at all. I found out we could get much better service with alternatives like Starlink. The bandwidth issues we're facing have led me to dig deeper into our setup, realizing it all could’ve been avoided if there had been more scrutiny on the contracts.
