I'm putting together a small form factor build and I'm hoping to include a 7800X3D processor. However, I'm not sure if I can find one that fits my budget of around $300. Any suggestions on where to look or if this price is realistic?

Check MSI's website! They have a bundle offering where you can get the 7800X3D for $335 if you choose one of their motherboards. Might be a good option if you find a motherboard you like.

I snagged mine for $300 after tax by price matching a Micro Center deal at Best Buy! So, if you can hunt down a deal like that, it might be doable.

If you're near a Micro Center, there's a deal for the 7800X3D at about $280! They also have a bundle with a motherboard for $399, which could save you some cash if you're in the market for both.

Honestly, I doubt you'll find it around $300 right now. Most places are pricing it close to $380. Just some friendly advice: keep your expectations in check on this one.

You might get lucky with a used or refurbished one if you're patient. Sometimes good deals pop up online or in local sales, but it's a hit or miss. Keep an eye out on different platforms like eBay or Newegg.

That’s true! Just make sure to check the seller's ratings before committing. You don’t want to end up with a dud.
