Hey everyone! I'm finally taking the plunge and building my own custom PC after years of thinking about it, and I'm going all out with some awesome specs! Here's what I have so far:
- **CPU**: Intel Core i9-14900KS (unlocked, 24-core 14th-Gen)
- **Motherboard**: ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero (ATX)
- **GPU**: ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 32GB
- **PSU**: ASUS ROG Thor 1600W Titanium III
- **CPU Cooler**: ASUS ROG Ryujin III WB
- **RAM**: XPG Lancer ROG Certified RGB DDR5 RAM 128GB DDR5
While I have most of the parts picked out, I still need help deciding on a few components like cables, a GPU water block, metal water cooling pipes, a reservoir, pump, radiators, and fans.
I'm planning a wall-mounted setup instead of a regular case and would love your ideas on design as well. My inspiration comes from a concept that looks somewhat like this: [Image 1](https://ibb.co/cXcDmGTm).
The theme I want to go with is "Tron Ares." I've also generated a rough design idea that looks like this: [Image 2](https://ibb.co/Mx6q2SGr). Although it ended up vertical instead of horizontal.
Additionally, I'm thinking of creating a dramatic startup sequence with a Raspberry Pi to coordinate the lights and sounds. When I hit the power button, I want it to play "Init by N.I.N" while the LED strips light up and the system starts.
I'd appreciate any advice on the parts I need and guidance on how to bring this build to life. I've disassembled and reassembled many desktops and other gadgets before, but this is my first full custom build!

Quick question—are you going with 2 or 4 RAM modules? You'll want to ensure you have the right configuration to maximize performance, especially with the 128GB you’re aiming for.
Before we dive into parts, what exactly do you plan on using the PC for? If it’s mostly for gaming, you might want to reconsider the Intel CPUs—they've had some issues in that area.

I found out that the model you’re looking at only comes in 8, 16, and 24GB modules. So you'll want to go with either 16GB x 4 or 24GB x 4, depending on what's available.
