Hey everyone!
I just got a new desktop to replace my laptop, which currently has a 1TB SSD with Windows and all my games. I'd like to avoid redownloading everything. Can I simply install the SSD from my laptop into the second slot of my new PC without running into issues?

Absolutely! You can install the SSD from your laptop into your new AMD desktop. Just ensure that the BIOS settings don't attempt to boot from the old SSD right away. If you have games downloaded via Steam, remember that if both computers are online and logged into the same account, Steam will prioritize transferring files directly from the SSD instead of downloading them again.
You can move the SSD, but keep in mind that you'll end up with two operating systems. You can choose which one to boot from at startup or adjust the boot priority in BIOS. Just make sure both systems are properly activated. If everything works well with your old SSD, consider wiping the new drive.
Yes, you can definitely do that! After installing the SSD, you might want to boot up your new desktop first, and then plug in your old SSD. Regarding drivers, it's a good idea to uninstall any drivers specific to the old system after you've set it all up.
