Hey everyone! I just got my hands on a 5090 Aorus Master Ice combo with a Z890 motherboard, although I'm planning on swapping out the motherboard for an AMD setup later on. My question is: will my current i9-10850K CPU and 32GB of 3600 RAM be sufficient to play games at 4K on the highest settings? I'm upgrading from a 3080 Ti, so I'm curious if this will be a worthwhile jump or if I should look into upgrading my CPU and motherboard right now.

You can definitely start with your current setup! Just pop in the 5090 and see how it performs. If you find the frame rates aren't what you're hoping for, then consider upgrading later. With your current hardware, the improvements might not be as dramatic as you think, though.
Yeah, that's a fair point. If you’re investing in a 5090, upgrading to something like the 9800X3D later might not be too much of a stretch financially.
