I'm having a persistent issue with my Windows 11 Pro setup where my user profile keeps getting corrupted. Specifically, I experience problems like the double-click function stopping unexpectedly, which requires a reboot to fix. Additionally, various app settings seem to change on their own. I've tried creating a new profile, which works for a few days but then faces the same corruption issues. The setup process for a new profile is time-consuming, taking around 5 to 6 hours to configure everything, so this recurring problem is incredibly frustrating.
I've run DISM and SFC /scannow multiple times without any improvement. My laptop, an Acer Nitro, has also been returned to Acer twice over the last few months. The first time they replaced the hard drive and Wi-Fi, then reimaged the system, but the problem persisted. On the second trip, they did another reimage and claimed it was fine, yet my profile corrupted again shortly after. I spend a week getting everything set up properly only for it to fail again. I'm really struggling with this 25H2 version; it's causing a lot of headaches.

You might want to run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to check for any RAM issues. Just search for it in the Start Menu and run it; it requires a restart to check things out.
It sounds like you've got something in your system that's causing these issues. Have you checked your BIOS settings or disk setup? Making changes there can sometimes lead to data loss or corruption. Always good to have backups too just in case.
Have you thought about doing a clean reinstall of Windows? That might resolve your issues, but it definitely sounds like a frustrating Windows 11 situation you're in.
I've already done several clean installs in the past few months; it's getting tiring.
What tweaks or registry edits are you making while setting up your new profile? It might help to investigate that. If the drives are fine, it could also be a memory issue, especially since you're not using ECC memory. That could lead to some odd behaviors.
I’ve been doing the same registry tweaks for years and had no problems before with 24H2. They're mostly just changes that used to have user interfaces but have since disappeared. They shouldn't cause profile corruption.

I don’t have any memory problems; I checked that already.
