I'm having some issues with my CPU overheating, and it seems like the stock cooler isn't cutting it. I'm looking for some recommendations on aftermarket coolers that would work well with my Intel i5 12400K. Any suggestions?

Make sure your fan is running properly on your current cooler. It’s really strange that you’re experiencing overheating with this CPU. Also, double-check that you removed the protective film from the cooler. Sometimes that can cause issues.
A popular choice among many is the Thermalright Phantom Spirit or the Peerless Assassin. They generally perform well and are budget-friendly. You could also check if reapplying thermal paste helps with your current setup if that worked fine before.
Any single tower cooler under $20, like the Thermalright Assassin Spirit 120, should work great for cooling that CPU. Brands like Deepcool and ID Cooling also have great options. Just remember the stock Intel cooler isn't the best!
