I'm trying to figure out which power supply unit (PSU) to get for my RTX 3070. I'm confused about the connectors—specifically, I see some that are labeled as 2x8 pin, but most seem to have the 2x6+2 configuration. Are these the same? Also, do you have any recommendations for affordable PSUs? I'm looking for something that will semi-future-proof my setup.

The 2x8 connector is actually the same as a 2x6+2. The 2x6+2 just means you can split it to fit different connectors, but it can definitely work as an 8 pin. What’s your budget and where are you located?

I'm in Arizona, USA, and I'm hoping to keep the budget under $50.
