I'm in the process of building a new PC and have decided on the 5070ti for my graphics card. I'll primarily be gaming at 1440p at 60Hz on my current monitor, though I might upgrade to a 4K monitor in the future. My goal is to achieve 60 FPS with the highest quality possible since I mostly play single-player games. Would upgrading to the 9800X3D instead of the 7800X3D make a significant difference for me? I can afford the 9800X3D, but I have a feeling the 7800X3D would suffice for my gaming needs at that frame rate.

If you’re aiming for 60 FPS, even the 7800X3D is more than enough power. Honestly, you might want to consider a more budget-friendly option like the 9600X instead. It's probably all you really need for smooth gameplay at that refresh rate!

Exactly! The 7800X3D and 9800X3D are great CPUs, but for just 60 FPS, you won’t feel much difference. Save some cash or invest in a better monitor!
