I'm considering upgrading my GPU from an RTX 3060 to an RTX 4070 Super because I want to start gaming at 1440p. Here's my current setup:
- Motherboard: ASUS Tuf b450 ii
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
- GPU: RTX 3060
- RAM: T-Force Vulcan DDR4 (4x8GB)
- Storage: 1TB Western Digital SSD and 500GB
- PSU: Corsair RMX series 850 Watt.
Do you think this upgrade would work well for 1440p gaming?

I heard Micro Center isn’t carrying new 4070 Supers anymore unless they mysteriously found some in stock. Why not look into the new 5070 under $500 or the 9070 for $500? Those could be better deals right now!

Aren't the 5070 and 4070 pretty similar in performance? I was also under the impression that the 5070 has a narrower memory bus than the 4070 Super.

Are you looking to buy that GPU used? I mean, just checking because sometimes you can snag a deal if you’re patient.

It’d be new! I actually live close to a Micro Center, and they've got plenty of them at MSRP.
