I recently got a Thermalright Assassin CPU cooler, and I've noticed a couple of bent fins. Some of them are bent so much that they're actually touching each other. I'm worried that this could lead to a short circuit or even pose a fire hazard. Does anyone know if this is something to be concerned about?

Don't stress about it! The fins might be touching, but they don't conduct electricity. They're just there to help dissipate heat. You might see a slight drop in cooling efficiency, but that's about it.
It's actually not a problem! A heatsink is just a chunk of metal that doesn't carry electricity, so no short circuits or fire risks here.
You're totally fine! The cooler is simply grounded, so there's no power running through those fins. Even if the bending affects cooling a bit, it won't lead to overheating or safety issues.
