I really prefer learning from books rather than online tutorials, so I'm on the lookout for a solid recommendation that can help me grasp Python effectively. A couple of years ago, I started with 'Automate the Boring Stuff with Python'—is that still a popular choice for beginners?

For beginners, I recommend 'Learning Python, 5th Edition' from O'Reilly. Their books are often a good starting point!
'Automate the Boring Stuff' is a solid option, but I’d also suggest checking out 'Python Crash Course' published by No Starch Press. It's a great read!
Thanks, I’ll take a look at that!

I noticed that book is from 2013. Do programming languages change enough that older books can feel outdated? Thanks for your input!
