Will My RAM Prevent My CPU Cooler From Fitting?

I recently bought some DDR5 RAM, specifically the XPG Lancer model, which isn't labeled as a low-profile type, and I'm now wondering if that will interfere with my CPU cooler choices. I have a GIGABYTE B850M GAMING X WIFI6E motherboard and a MONTECH AIR X ARGB case. The coolers I'm considering are the Phantom Spirit 120 and the Royal Pretor 130. Will either of these fit alongside my RAM?

Yes, the fans can be repositioned, so you have some flexibility there. You can mount them higher or even on the back of the cooler if needed.

You should be fine! You can actually adjust the side fan higher if it conflicts with the RAM sticks.

I just had to do this yesterday with a be quiet! Pro Rock 3 and some non-low-profile T-Force RGB DDR5 RAM. If you were worried about fit, I think you're good!

The Montech Air X case allows for coolers up to 163 mm tall. Since your RAM is 44 mm tall, both coolers you're looking at will be too tall to add a second fan but should fit fine otherwise. The Phantom Spirit 120 and Royal Pretor 130 will reach a total of 164 mm when you add the RAM height, so you'll just miss the second fan option, but that's not a huge problem for cooling performance.

So should I just consider a single fan cooler? Any tips for cooling a Ryzen 9700X, or would going for an AIO setup be better?
