I recently updated the BIOS on my ASUS Prime A840M-A WiFi motherboard in an attempt to fix some crashes I was experiencing in CS2. However, since the update, I can't even open the game, and my entire PC has been running significantly slower. Rolling back to the previous BIOS isn't an option because version 1403 doesn't allow downgrading. Everything was functioning well before this update aside from the crashes in CS2. Can anyone provide guidance on how to resolve these issues? Here are my specs: Ryzen 5 9600X, RTX 5070, and Corsair DDR5 6400 CL32.

First things first, try clearing the CMOS. After that, make sure to enable XMP/EXPO in the BIOS. If you're still having trouble, reinstall CS2 and see if that helps. If none of these steps work, consider if your system might be overheating.
Have you considered that there might be an underlying hardware issue, like faulty RAM? It's possible that the update is just exposing a problem that was already there.
How many RAM sticks are you using, and what SSD and PSU do you have? Also, check the cables connected to your GPU on both ends. And double check if your monitor is plugged into the GPU instead of the motherboard, as that could cause issues too.
I'm using 2x16 GB RAM sticks, a Crucial P310 NVMe SSD, and a Corsair RM850e PSU. I just built this PC a few days ago and haven't moved it, so I don't see why I'd need to check the cables, but yes, my monitor is plugged into the GPU.

I've already enabled EXPO, but I'll definitely try clearing the CMOS tomorrow since it's pretty late here.
