What’s the Deal with Returning GPUs on Amazon?

I recently bought a GPU on sale, but I just found a better option that's about 15-20% better for a similar price. I haven't opened the box yet—should I try to return it for the better deal? It's sold by Amazon, but unfortunately, it doesn't have the free shipping return label. I'm wondering if I should choose a reason like 'performance/quality not adequate' or something else to get a refund with shipping covered. I've seen people take bigger risks, but I'm unsure how risky this is for just a slightly better deal. Here's the list of return reasons I have:
- Missing parts or accessories
- Better price available
- Didn't approve purchase
- Item arrived too late
- Wrong item sent
- Product and shipping box both damaged
- Incompatible or not useful
- Bought by mistake
- Item defective or doesn't work
- Inaccurate website description
- Performance or quality not adequate
- No longer needed
- Product damaged, but shipping box OK

Also, should I open the box if I choose a reason like 'performance or quality not adequate'?

Choosing 'better price available' is totally valid. Just a heads up, I’ve heard that if you select reasons other than defective or damaged, they might charge you for return shipping. So keep that in mind when making your choice!

You might not need to give a specific reason at all. The option 'No longer needed' fits your situation well, so I’d say that could work for you. If you can, drop it off at a Kohl’s for the return, but I realize that might not be available everywhere.

That's rough! I guess in Canada, you have to stick with whatever options you have.
