I'm nearly finished with my PC build and just need to pick up the GPU and SSD today. Here's what I have so far:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler:** Corsair iCUE LINK H100i RGB Liquid Cooler (got it for free from Newegg)
- **Motherboard:** MSI MPG X870E CARBON WIFI ATX AM5
- **RAM:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- **Storage:** Samsung 9100 PRO 2 TB M.2 NVMe SSD
- **GPU:** PNY ARGB EPIC-X RGB OC GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB
- **Case:** Corsair 3500X ARGB Mid Tower
- **PSU:** Corsair RM750e (2025) 750W Fully Modular
The RAM ended up being quite pricey at $437 for 32GB, but I couldn't find a better deal in time. I know my power supply is on the lower end, as the total wattage is about 606W. If anyone has suggestions for a better case in a similar price range, I'd appreciate it!

You might want to consider getting an 850W PSU instead of the 750W for peace of mind, especially with the RTX 5080. The price difference isn’t huge, and it’s better to be safe. NVIDIA recommends 850W for your setup, so it’s worth checking out.
Given your high-wattage build, an airflow-focused case is crucial. I'd recommend something like the NZXT H7 Flow or the Lian Li Lancool series. These will help maintain lower temperatures and quieter operation. Just confirm that everything fits, but they should!
Thank you for the recommendation! I’ll check those out.
Consider going for a more affordable motherboard and perhaps a better air cooler too. You're spending a lot on some parts that might not provide significant performance gains. What do you think?
I managed to save by choosing a B850 motherboard for my similar build. It worked out well, and I didn't feel any performance drop.
It looks like you’re putting a ton of money into parts that might not give you major benefits. I’d suggest looking into a cheaper motherboard and SSD. But if you love the RGB features and know exactly why you're choosing those components, then stick with what you like!

Good point! I’ll definitely look around when I pick up the GPU.
