How can I install Linux on my ARM64 Acer Aspire laptop?

I'm using an Acer Aspire A14-11M-X4QQ with a Snapdragon X processor and I'm eager to install Linux alongside my current OS. I've had plenty of experience using different Linux distributions on other machines, but this is my first time working with an ARM64 laptop and I'm feeling a bit lost when it comes to finding a suitable bootable distro. Any recommendations on compatible distributions for dual booting?

For more options, visit a distro selection page or search online to find other ARM-compatible Linux distributions. Experimenting in a virtual machine before committing is also a smart move. And remember to back up your data just in case!

You should definitely check out Fedora and Ubuntu, as both have ARM versions available. They work well on ARM64 hardware. Also, don’t overlook Armbian; it’s designed specifically for ARM devices and could be a great option for you.
