I'm in a bit of a dilemma about whether to get a GPU at this moment. My dad was generous enough to help me build a new PC, but the budget for a GPU was quite limited—he thought something in the range of €25-€50 would suffice. Currently, I can afford an Intel Arc B580, and if I borrow an additional €50 from him, I could get a Radeon RX 9060XT (16GB) since it's on sale. I know both options are decent cards, but I'm unsure if they're worth it considering the rest of my build: a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and an NVMe drive with an 850W power supply.
I want to get into game development and content creation (like YouTube) once I have a GPU, but before that, I mainly play 720p competitive shooters and indie games due to my outdated monitor. Should I proceed with one of these GPUs, or is it better to wait for something better down the line? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Look, you've got a great setup even without a dGPU. Your CPU is powerful, and you should take some time to appreciate that. If you really can't afford a GPU right now, maybe focus on other things in your life before trying to squeeze more budget out of your dad. Sometimes patience pays off better than rushing into a purchase that might not even be the right fit long-term!
Honestly, what's the alternative? Running without a dedicated GPU? If you're gonna take a while to save for something better, that could seriously delay your plans for game dev and content creation. Just consider if the B580 is enough to keep you going for now while you save up for a bigger upgrade later on. It sounds like you’ve got a solid system, so something is better than nothing!
I agree with you! The iGPU in the 7800X3D is decent, but if you want to get into game dev, a dGPU will definitely help. Taking the step now might actually make everything you want to do a lot easier.

But he does have some budget for either the B580 or the RX 9060XT. It really comes down to whether either is worth it for his use cases now, even if he's considering future gaming. If he can manage to stretch his budget a bit, the RX might serve him better!
