How to connect a broken phone to a PC?

Hey everyone, my phone just dropped and the screen came off completely. I'm wondering if there's any way to connect it to my PC using a cable to get the screen display and control it from there. The screen is broken and it won't turn on, so I can't enable USB debugging or install any apps as some people suggest. Is there a way to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, if you don't have USB debugging enabled and your phone is broken, you're pretty much out of luck. Getting it repaired will probably be your best option.

Got it, thanks for the heads up.

But what if I did enable it before the break? Is there a solution then?

You could get an HDMI adapter, depending on your phone model. These usually allow you to connect it to a monitor along with a mouse and keyboard, and they are relatively cheap, around $10. I’ve used one for my Samsung to control it on a bigger screen.

Sounds promising! I’ll check it out. Thanks!
