Issues Switching Regions in the AWS Console

I've been trying to switch to the ap-southeast-2 region in the AWS console, but it seems to be stuck. When I attempt a GET request to the URL, it times out. I checked the AWS health dashboard, and it shows no ongoing issues for Sydney, but something isn't working on our end. Has anyone else experienced this?

You're not alone! We've had some odd connection issues with Sydney, too. Half our team in the UK can't access our services running on Fargate, while others are just fine. It seems like there’s a problem on AWS's end since some of us can log in but it's really lagging. It's been all over the place for hours now!

Yeah, it sounds like an AWS issue. I managed to log in, but the page loads are really slow. It seems like there might be some underlying authentication or API problems going on.
