How can I optimize my new PC build with a 7800x3d and 5070ti?

Hey everyone! I'm about to put together my new PC build and I'm looking for advice on how to optimize it after I finish assembling it. Here are my specs:

- GPU: 5070ti (Asus)
- CPU: 7800x3d
- RAM: Corsair 32GB DDR5 6200mhz (CL32)
- Motherboard: Prime 650M-K AM5 DDR5 (Asus)

I'm comfortable with the building part, but I really want to make sure I set everything up for optimal performance. Are there specific software or BIOS settings I should look into for the CPU and GPU? Also, is there anything I can do in the BIOS for my RAM to make sure I'm getting the best performance out of it? Any tips you have would be super helpful as this is a big upgrade for me! Thanks in advance!

Consider undervolting your CPU using the Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) feature in the BIOS. For the GPU, tools like MSI Afterburner can help with adjustments. This often leads to better performance while using less power! And yes, turning on XMP/EXPO for your RAM will ensure it runs at 6200 MHz. Just keep an eye on stability; sometimes, 6000 MHz is recommended for the best balance if you're doing basic tasks.

You definitely want to enable DOCP in your BIOS for your RAM to get that 6200 MHz speed. Don't worry too much about the rest; once that's on, you should be good to go!

Just a heads up, it's actually called EXPO on the AM5 platform. Make sure to check that too!

So about your RAM, there are a few options with 6200MT/s RAM. You could just use the standard JDEC profile, which runs at around 4800MT/s—definitely stable but slow. Or you could try the 6200MT/s profile; however, that may lead to performance issues since it can go out of sync with the fabric clock. Many folks suggest just sticking with 6000 CL30 RAM for a reason—easier to manage and it works great!

Got it, thanks for the info! If I plan to upgrade in the future, would you recommend going for 6000MHz CL30, maybe even 64GB? Sounds like a safer bet for compatibility!
