I'm considering getting a mouse again that runs on AA batteries. Right now, I'm leaning towards the Razer Naga Hyperspeed V2 since I enjoy its weight and decent battery life, plus I have rechargeable batteries from IKEA that work perfectly. I don't actually use the programmable buttons, so I'm curious if there are better alternatives available. Also, I'm a bit annoyed that the Razer app doesn't display the battery percentage, just a generic bar. If I don't find anything else, I might just end up getting it again.

I had a rough experience with the Razer Hyperspeed mice. In six months, I went through two of them due to a pairing issue with the receiver. Razer’s support wasn’t super helpful either, only offering a replacement. My new Superlight 2 does have its hiccups as well, but at least it’s mostly reliable.
Logitech has a ton of AA battery options. If you want something without all the extra buttons, check their non-gaming line too! I really liked my M575 trackball, but they offer some great regular mice as well.

I loved the M575 too! Such a unique design.
