I'm new to Linux, having just switched a few days ago, and I also stream. I want to know if there's a way to stream from my Linux computer to my Windows computer. There are a few programs I rely on that work better on Windows, like VTube Studio, and some that aren't even available for Linux, like Mix It Up and Twitch's integrated throwing system. If there's no straightforward solution for this, are there good alternatives to run these programs on my Linux setup?
Additionally, I have questions about mic management. I used to utilize SteelSeries Sonar for features like noise gating, EQ, and compression. Is there an equivalent tool or solution available on Linux?
For context, I'm currently on Linux Mint but I'm considering a switch to Bazzite soon. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

For streaming from Linux to Windows, OBS Studio is a fantastic choice! It's a widely used software and should cover most of your streaming needs. If you're doing dual PC streaming, you can set up OBS on your Linux machine for gaming and then do the streaming on your Windows PC with tools like Mix It Up, VTube Studio, and OBS. Just make sure your network is solid to avoid any lag!
For mic management on Linux, consider using PulseAudio or Jack Audio Connection Kit. They allow for advanced mic control, including EQ and compression. You might also find plugins that replicate the features you had on SteelSeries Sonar.
Great tips! I used PulseAudio for a while and it worked pretty well for noise gates and EQ settings. A bit of a learning curve, but worth it.

Exactly! OBS is super versatile. Just make sure to configure the settings correctly to optimize your streaming performance!
