What’s a Fair Price for My Brand New RAM?

I'm looking to sell my Corsair Vengeance RGB RT DDR4 RAM, which is brand new and still sealed. It's a 16GB kit (2x8GB modules) with a speed of 3600MHz (SKU: CMN16GX4M2Z3600C18). I've received an offer of $40, but I'm not sure if that's a good deal or if I should aim for higher. What do you think I could reasonably sell it for?

For new RGB 3600MHz sticks, you’re looking at around $60-70 on eBay. Regular ones go for much less, but since yours is brand new, you should get a decent price.

Thanks! I was about to settle for $40, but now I know I can ask for at least $60.

You might want to consider listing it for about $150 based on current trends. Just be sure to check local prices to see where yours fits in.

In today’s market, $40 seems low. You could probably expect to trade it for something significant, maybe even a high-end GPU like a used 4090.

Wow, I had no idea it could be worth that much!

Honestly, $40 is kind of lowball. If you know the buyer and want to cut them a deal, that’s cool, but you could easily sell for $100 or more right now, depending on your location.

I'm in the U.S., so I guess I'm not too far off the mark!

If you check the SKU online, you'll get a good idea of what similar products are going for right now. But keep in mind, prices fluctuate a lot these days due to market changes.

You seem out of touch with current market rates! Prices have spiked recently, so definitely do some research.
