I'm currently using an i5-6400 with a GTX 960 and I'm considering upgrading my CPU. I've been looking at the Ryzen 5 5500. Is it worth it?

If you're just swapping the CPU, the 5500 will fit in your setup just fine, but be aware it might require a new motherboard and RAM since you're coming from Intel. You want to make sure your current components are compatible!
Is the i5-6400 not doing well for your current gaming? Maybe it's better to upgrade the GPU instead if gaming is your main goal.
