My Laptop Screen Won’t Turn On After Connecting a Tablet, What Should I Do?

Hi everyone! I recently connected my drawing tablet to my laptop, which also has two external monitors connected. After I did that, my laptop's built-in screen turned off, along with one of the external monitors. Now, no matter how many times I turn my laptop on and off, the laptop screen remains black. However, it does work with a USB monitor. I'm worried that I might have damaged my laptop's display and the external monitor connection. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks! (By the way, my laptop is a GIGABYTE G6.)

It sounds like there might be an issue with your laptop's display settings or GPU. Have you tried connecting just one monitor to see if the laptop can handle it that way? Sometimes integrated GPUs can struggle with multiple displays. Try resetting the display settings by using the keyboard shortcuts if you can—like Win + P to switch display modes.

I get what you're saying. Right now, it sounds like it only recognizes your USB monitor. It could be a GPU issue since your laptop has both integrated graphics and an RTX 4060. If it's only detecting the USB monitor, maybe reset everything or check a few cables?
