I'm currently using a gaming laptop I purchased for $700 two years ago. Yesterday, I had to replace a failed RAM stick (a DDR4 8GB Kingston) which cost me around $25. Since RAM prices haven't really changed here in Thailand, I'm considering buying a 32GB RAM upgrade before I move to Canada in about three months. I'll either build a new PC or get a better laptop when I get there. Should I go ahead with the purchase?

Yeah, go for it! Just make sure to handle it with care and don’t drop it. RAM is always useful, especially if you’re building a new setup later.
Honestly, if I found RAM at 6-month-old prices, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. I’m actually working on a build for my partner that’s been stalled because of RAM availability. It’s a good idea to get what you can now.
Yes, definitely buy it. If you can find 32GB of DDR5 RAM for around $120, I’d say bring that over too!
If you're planning on upgrading regardless of prices, then it makes sense to buy now if you can swing it. Just don’t expect to sell it for a profit later since the market can be unpredictable.
I wanted to check RAM prices online and was shocked at how little is left in stock! It’s like everything sold out overnight. If you see RAM at a decent price, grab it. It looks like the market is tightening up.
