I'm planning to spend between $200 and $400 to upgrade my casual gaming rig. I mainly play games like Helldiver's and Bannerlord 2, so I don't need top-tier performance, but I'd love to hit 60+ fps on high or ultra settings. Currently, I have a Tuf RTX 3050 8GB OC, and I'm considering getting an RTX 5060 (either 8GB or 12GB) and a 650 or 700W PSU. I know the 5060 isn't the most popular card, but it seems like a decent upgrade without needing to purchase additional RAM right now. I'm also aware that the pricing has started to settle online. Would investing in a new GPU and PSU be the best way to go for under $400? If yes, what GPU would you recommend? Here are my current components: AMD Ryzen 5 2600, Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard, Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB RAM, and EVGA 500 GD PSU.

The RX 9060 XT completely outperforms the RTX 5060, so that might be the better route. Just keep an eye on the used market for budget finds. You might find a 3600X or a nice RX 7000 series GPU at a good price!
If you really want something new, the RTX 5060 8GB is probably your best bet for the price. But if you see a deal on a 3070 Ti or even a 3080, definitely jump on it! Those cards offer a much bigger performance boost.
What would be a reasonable price for a used 3070 Ti? I've seen the 5060 priced between $289-$329, but I feel like the 3070 Ti should be cheaper.
Upgrading your VRAM could also be beneficial. The 12GB models are becoming the standard these days. The RTX 5060 is decent for 1080p gaming, while the RX 9060 XT really kicks it up a notch. It's worth comparing both if you find a good deal!
Thanks! I've seen some 5060 12GB models around $300, but I'll check into the 9060 XT.

I've been checking local listings, but prices are still high for those models. I appreciate the advice!
