I'm gearing up for a new PC build and I'm ready to move away from Windows. I'm considering either Bazzite or Pop! but haven't made a final decision yet. Can anyone guide me on how to install one of these Linux operating systems on a brand new setup? Is the installation process similar to Windows? If I place the installer files on a USB drive and plug it in, will it boot automatically? Or should I install Windows 10 first and then set up Linux?

You'll just need a USB stick. Make sure to configure your BIOS to boot from the USB. No need to install Windows first; you can go straight to installing Linux.
For something more advanced, you might like to refer to the [Gentoo AMD64 Install Handbook](https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:AMD64) for a deeper dive.
Honestly, installing a Linux OS on a fresh PC is pretty much the same as installing it on one that had Windows before. The steps won't change at all, so you should be good to go!
If you're considering Linux Mint, check it out [here](https://www.linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=322). But really, any Linux distro should work smoothly on your new setup.
