Help! My PC Won’t Turn On After Upgrading My CPU

I recently upgraded my PC with a new motherboard, RAM, and CPU. I installed a Gigabyte B650 EAGLE ATX motherboard, an AMD Ryzen 5 9600x CPU, and Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5200MHz 16GB RAM. Since the installation, my PC refuses to turn on even to the BIOS screen. I've double-checked all my connections and components but can't find any mistakes. I also tried flashing the BIOS to the latest version, but since the PC won't power on, I can't verify if that was successful. I know there's power because the graphics card has a light, and when I hit the power button, a red light labeled "CPU" flashes briefly. Does anyone have any tips on how I can troubleshoot this issue? Or should I consider returning the CPU as potentially faulty?

Another thing to consider is the compatibility of your new CPU and motherboard. Make sure that your motherboard's BIOS version supports the Ryzen 5 9600x CPU. If not, you might need an older CPU just to update the BIOS to a version that supports it. Also, check if the PSU is powerful enough for the new setup.

It sounds like there might be an issue with the BIOS flashing process. Typically, when you press the Q Flash Plus button, the Q Flash LED should blink for a few minutes to indicate that the update is happening. If it stopped blinking quickly, then it may not have been successful. Since yours was blinking for a while, that’s a good sign. Try reseating the CPU and RAM to ensure everything is connected properly, and also double-check your power supply connections. Sometimes, power supply issues can lead to this kind of trouble.
