Hey everyone! I'm diving into building my first PC and could really use some advice. I've got a list of parts that I'm considering, particularly still trying to decide on the cooler, power supply, and storage options. Any feedback or suggestions would be awesome!

Honestly, for the price you're looking at, you might get a much better deal by buying a used PC instead. Building is a lot of fun and a great learning experience, but just something to think about!
Good catch! Just so you know, that CPU actually comes with a cooler, so you might not need to buy one separately. Saves you some cash!
I see, so no need to purchase additional coolers, thank you!
Make sure to be cautious with the 6GB of VRAM. I'd suggest looking into a used GPU if possible! And definitely check that your motherboard is compatible—you don’t want to be stuck troubleshooting why it won’t boot because of that. I learned that the hard way when I had to update my motherboard.
I was wondering what the warning on the parts picker list was. Definitely will double check!

You're probably right. A big reason I decided to build is actually to get my hands on hardware and learn about different PC components that I've only seen through videos. The other reason is to play modded Skyrim.
