I'm experiencing some odd issues with my monitor that started happening recently. For instance, during a dead pixel test, I notice a thin horizontal line of color that doesn't match the screen's display. However, when I exit the test, everything goes back to normal. Occasionally, when I'm gaming, strange visual artifacts appear at the bottom of the screen. It even happens in the BIOS when I move the cursor over the options. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

It sounds like a hardware problem, especially since you're seeing these artifacts in BIOS, which rules out software issues. Try testing your monitor with a different device, like a laptop, using the same cable. If you see those lines there too, it’s likely the monitor that’s failing. If it looks fine with the other device, then the issue might be with your PC. You should also check your graphics card—try reseating it and ensuring all power connectors are secure.
Have you tried plugging your monitor into another device? Even if you normally use DisplayPort, it might help to see if it behaves the same way with an HDMI connection. Just to rule out the monitor as the issue, you know?
