I'm trying to figure out which setup would be better for gaming, specifically for games like World of Warcraft (mostly classic) and Dead By Daylight. I have two options:
Option 1:
- Ryzen 5 5500
- 32GB DDR4 3200MHz
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 8GB
- 1TB SSD
Option 2:
- Ryzen 5 8400F
- 16GB DDR5 6000MHz
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 8GB
- 1TB SSD

I’d actually recommend looking beyond both options. WoW tends to favor CPUs with higher L3 cache, and unfortunately, both the 5500 and 8400F have less than other models like the 5600 or 7500F. So, if you can, consider those instead. They could offer a better gaming experience overall.
What about the 7700 with 32GB DDR5? Wouldn't that be a solid upgrade? My brother is looking to raise his budget by $200 for his new gaming rig.
