I'm having a strange issue with my system's memory usage. I've got 32GB of DDR4 RAM (two sticks, recognized correctly in UEFI), but it never seems to drop below 24GB of usage, even when my computer is just idle. In Task Manager, it shows that only about 200MB is being utilized for applications like Steam when I check the usage, but the percentage reads around 10%, which would be roughly 3GB. This discrepancy has me confused. I ran a memory diagnostics test and it reported no errors. Any insights?

It looks like you might want to check for memory leaks. Sometimes, certain applications can cause excessive memory usage without showing it clearly in Task Manager. Keeping an eye on your resource monitor can help spot what's hogging the RAM.
Windows tends to pre-load applications it thinks you might use, which can make it appear like your memory is always in use. It's normal for the memory to stay high; it's just Windows being efficient (or a bit greedy!). Don’t stress too much about it unless you're experiencing performance issues.
Could you share some screenshots of your memory usage and the active processes? That would help in diagnosing the problem further. Sometimes, the Task Manager might not show everything that’s consuming RAM.

Sure! Here are some screenshots: [Screenshot 1](https://preview.redd.it/u34ut8p7qu5g1.jpeg?width=2252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=810c2205ef74affc2ab322177b9161afcd0f3c9c) and [Screenshot 2](https://preview.redd.it/goqolvbcqu5g1.jpeg?width=2252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b6fa7265e8473895ba2f8f43a8cb1b6fbb7f179). Both reflect my idle state.
